Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition Will be Released in 1080p For Xbox One
Diablo 3 developer, Blizzard has confirmed that The Xbox One version of Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will run at 1080p after applying the day-one patch. This will certainly improve the graphical experience of all Xbox One Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition players.
The new patch improves the Xbox One’s version of Diablo 3 to the resolution of the title, from 900p to 1080p. Although Blizzard said that it’s going to be hard to make Xbox One version available in 1080p, it seems that it finally has been done with the day-one patch. 60 FPS is pretty crucial for a requiring game like Diablo, so Blizzard’s caution in making sure the hardware can absolutely handle 1080p is understandable.
Blizzard associate producer Tiffany Wat told GameSpot. “Native 1080p resolution. You will need to download the day-one patch for the Xbox One to get that support, but it will be there. We’re very happy about that.”
This presents the third round of Diablo 3 releases, first on PC, then on last-gen consoles, and finally on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC version of Diablo 3 had many problems from the start, firstly servers were not working properly, and after that, players had many problems with the trade system.
The console version is more stable, but it still isn’t on the level of Diablo 2. The Ultimate Evil edition of Diablo 3 includes the core game and the Reaper of Souls expansion.
Developers from Blizzard have announced that the game will start at 900p at the launch, and it will get to 1080p after that. This could be possible with the help of Xbox One June SDK update, which boosted the console’s GPU performances, making the Xbox One slightly more powerful, but more needs to be done, if Microsoft wants to compete with Sony on the field of device performances. Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will be released on August 19, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
