‘Ryse: Son of Rome’ to be Released for PC THIS FALL
Ryse: Son of Rome’s developer, Crytek, has shared that one of the best Xbox One action adventures, Ryse: Son of Rome will come to PC before the end of the year, more precisely, this fall. This is a great piece of news for all fans of this game who are unable to play it on Xbox One.
Crytek has also announced that the PC version will feature 4K resolution support, as well as DLCs. The game will have two publishers, Crytek will self-publish the game for digital download, while Saints Row publisher Deep Silver will release the boxed version of the game.
“We are bringing the Ryse experience to PC, with 4K resolution support,” Crytek director of business development, Carl Jones, said in a statement. “4K gaming is another leap in graphics quality for PC gamers and Ryse is the perfect showcase for what’s now possible in high-end PC games.”
The PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome will include every aspect and every add-on of the original Xbox One title released so far. And this list of features and add-ons is very long, including Colosseum Pack, the Mars Chosen Pack, the Duel of Fates Pack, the Morituri Pack, the Ruins multiplayer map, Survival mode, and the Legionnaire’s Trust sword that was initially released as part of the game’s special edition.
Crytek still hasn’t revealed the exact PC release date of the game, the only thing we know is that it is going to be released this fall. The thing that possibly could be a problem is Crytek’s recent financial trouble. The company recently sold its Homefront franchise to Deep Silver. Some Former Crytek UK developers have joined Deep Silver to work on the new Homefront game, as well.
Ryse: Son of Rome will be the second high-profile Xbox One exclusive title to be heading to PC, following Dead Rising 3 which comes to PC on September 5.
