iPod Touch 6G Release: What WE KNOW So Far

It’s been some time since the latest iPod release. And now, Apple prepared the new, sixth generation of the device for us. There are many rumors about the release of the iPod Touch 6G around the internet, but none is for certain. However, many people believe that the new device will be released sometime in Fall 2014.

There are numerous rumors around the net about the release of forthcoming Apple devices, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 and iPod Touch 6. Apple fans are really looking forward for all these devices, and it seems that this Fall is going to be really good for them. According to the latest rumors, iPod Touch 6G will be released at the upcoming Apple 2014 Event, along with other devices. Many believe that the iPad event will be in October, a month after the release of the iPhone 6, which will probably be launched in September.

However, there are some Apple enthusiasts who believe that the new iPod Touch 6G will be released sometime in September, along with iPhone 6. But they’ll probably need to be more patient, because many sources claim that the sixth generation of iPad won’t be released before October. A post on Phones Review says that at the earliest, Apple may release the iPod 6G in October, along with the new iOS, the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3. The post says, “Apple likes to keep the spotlight on their new iPhone models in September, and of course the iOS 8 public release will feature as well.”

Besides from the release of the new iPod Touch 6G, Apple fans are waiting for further information about the new features of the iOS media player. As the iOS media player is an upcoming model, it is expected that the iPod Touch 6G will come with the forthcoming operating system, the iOS 8, which is scheduled for Fall 2014 release.

It is also believed that the iPod Touch 6G, along with other upcoming Apple devices, such as the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 will be available with Touch ID, one the major features of the upcoming iOS 8. The Touch ID is a finger recognition tool from Apple, which provides security as well as convenience options for the users.
