Chris Metzen the Vice President of Creative Development at Blizzard has said that the World of Warcraft movie has been slowed but it is happening and will come later. The news comes from the WoW merchandise panel at Comic Con where Metzen mentioned that director Sam Raimi is “very, very passionate” about making the WoW movie and once the screenplay work is doe the movie may pick up some pace.
Well, it looks like there is still a lot of work to do and Blizzard also has a lot of other things to worry about. However, there is more good news, as Metzen also announced the next WoW Novel which will be called The Shattering and it will help readers know more about the new expansion, Cataclysm.
It looks like there are going to be a lot of changes in the World of Warcraft, as very soon an earthquake is going to destroy some important parts of the game world.
