Samsung launches Galaxy Tab 3 211 and Galaxy Tab 3 311 in India for Rs. 17,745 and Rs. 21,945 respectively
Samsung has officially launched two of its new tablets in the Indian market, these devices include the Galaxy Tab 3 211 and the Galaxy Tab 3 311. The former sports a 7-inch display while the latter sports an 8-inch display. Both categorize as well equipped Android tablets in the mid-range price bracket and are priced quite competitively.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 sports a 7-inch TFT display with a low 1024×600 pixels resolution. It is powered by a dual-core Marvell processor clocked at 1.2GHz and includes 1GB of RAM. It further has 8GB of built-in storage capacity which can be further expanded using a microSD card. It also features a 3 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera. It has a 4,000 mAh battery, supports 3G connectivity and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311 comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it sports an 8-inch display with a 1280×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a dual-core Exynos 4412 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and includes 1.5GB of RAM along with a Mali 400 GPU. It has 16GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot and a 4,450 mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab 3 311 also features a 5 megapixel rear camera along with a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera. It supports 3G connectivity.
Both these tablets will comes skinned with Samsung’s very own TouchWiz UX and as of now Samsung has not announced any kind of special data plans in collaboration with service providers. Both the tablets be available for purchase starting the coming Sunday.
The Galaxy Tab 3 211 which is a 7-inch tablet is officially priced at Rs. 17,745 while the Galaxy Tab 3 311 which is the 8-inch variant is officially priced at Rs. 21,945 for the Wi-Fi only version and Rs. 25,725 for the 3G variant.
