Now Android lets you Order Apps and Pay later Alongside your Monthly Bills

Getting apps just got easier for those using T-Mobile and Android, as the carrier now allows you to download the apps you want and pay for them later along with your monthly bill. Google has made two key changes to the Market Developer Distribution Agreement to bring in new payment options in the future.

The two important changes are:

  • In Section 13.1, “authorized carriers” have been added as an indemnified party.
  • Section 13.2 is new in its entirety, covering indemnity for payment processors for claims related to tax accrual.

This means that authorized carriers can now allow their users to make app purchases which would be later reflected in their monthly bills for payment. Google has yet now officially announced or acknowledged these new changes however, the new modified agreement suggest these changes coming in.

Well, such a thing will definitely increase the number of App purchases in the market as many people won’t mind paying a few extra dollars along with the monthly bill. What are your thoughts, will it help improve the Android Market?
