Nokia 8 to be Unveiled on August 16th
The entire tech world is excited to see how HMD Global is managing to bring the Nokia brand back to its old glory. The way in which HMD Global is achieving that is by constantly launching high-end smartphones and it seems like Nokia fans should be getting ready for another handheld device that’s going to be unveiled on August 16th. HMD Global, the owner of Nokia, went on and booked a press event for August 16th and it is highly believed that that’s when Nokia 8 will be unveiled.
Even though HMD Global has been doing a great job of any keeping vital information about Nokia 8 away from the media’s eyes, this hasn’t stop leaksters from getting their hands on Nokia 8’s specs and features. The most interesting thing that leakster could find about Nokia 8 is that there is going to be a special gold-colored edition of it which everyone can see in the featured image.
Leaving the special gold edition aside, the most important leaked information about Nokia 8 is its full specs sheet. The smartphone will hold the title of being Nokia’s flagship and this is why the Finnish manufacturer has made sure to equip it with only premium hardware parts. With that being said, let’s pop up Nokia 8’s hood and see what we can find.
The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor that’s bundled with an Adreno 540 graphics processing unit and the whopping amount of 6GB RAM on the premium version. Furthermore, Nokia 8 will be fueled by a non-removable Li-Ion battery which will support Quick Charge 3.0.
Last but not least, one of the most impressive features that Nokia 8 will offer is a 5.3-inch IPS LCD displays that’s been covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In addition, the display presents a high pixel resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a pixel density of 554 ppi.
