Nexus 6P vs HTC 10 – A Battle of Greatness
HTC used to be one of the biggest names in the smartphone world but something happened along the way and HTC lost its touch. However, the Taiwanese tech giant didn’t stop from pursuing its dream to retake its spot as one of the best smartphone manufacturers in the world and this is why HTC 10 was launched.
The Taiwanese tech giant launched a bunch of great smartphones over the years but the best one of them has to be HTC 10. This is an all-round great smartphone that’s been selling quite well. However, today we’re going to test HTC 10 by pinning it against one of the best Android powered smartphones ever made, Nexus 6P!
HTC 10 ships a 5.2-inch Super LCD5 panel which offers a high resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a pixel density of 565 ppi. In addition, HTC 10’s display is also coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which improves its crack and scratch resistance.
On the other hand, we have Nexus 6P which ships with a much large 5.7-inch AMOLED displays that offers the same pixel resolution and a smaller pixel density of 518 ppi. However, Nexus 6P’s display is coated in the more technological advanced Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
HTC 10’s hardware specs sheet consists of Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset that’s been clocked at 2.15GHz and an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit alongside 4GB of RAM. Nexus 6P’s hardware specs shouldn’t be overlooked at all since it is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit that’s paired with 3GB of RAM.
When it comes to display, Nexus 6P has the upper hand but we can’t say the same thing about the hardware power department. While Nexus 6P’s hardware specs are nothing to be overlooked, HTC 10 is way better and its higher amount of RAM helps it run smoother.
