New iMac Specifications and Features Officially Announced

Many had already speculated that the iMac may get a refresh and finally the next iMac is now official. The new iMac range features four new models and all of them have the Intel Core i3 or i5 processors and kick off at a price of $1,199 US.

Let’s check out the features and specifications which the new iMacs have to offer:

21.5-inch 3.06MHz Intel i3 iMac ($1,199)

There is also an option for different upgrades for every iMac, the 21.5-inch 3.06GHz upgrade includes 8GB of RAM, the 21.5-inch 3.2GHz upgrade includes 2TB HDD, 8GB of RAM and 3.6GHz Core i5 processor, the 27-inch 3.2GHz upgrade includes 256GB SSD, 2TB HDD, 3.6GHz Core i5 processor and up to 16GB of RAM while the 27-inch 2.8GHz Quad-Core upgrade is very similar to the prior one but with 2.93GHz Quad-Core Core i7 processor.

Along with this Apple has also announced the new Magic TrackPad, a refresh for Mac Pro and the new 27-inch LED Cinema Display. So will you be getting yourself the new iMac?
