New 11.6-inch MacBook Air and New iPod Touch Coming Soon

It looks like Apple is all set to launch a new generation of the MacBook Air which will feature an 11.6-inch display along with an Intel Core i-series ultra low voltage processor. The new MacBook Air will be in the second half of this year and a new iPod Touch can be expected in August or September. The news comes in from Digitimes and according to Mingchi Kuo, senior analyst and Digitimes Research both the products would be manufactured by Quanta Computer.

According to the report the new MacBook Air will feature an even slimmer and lighter design than the previous version. While the new iPod Touch will feature a 3-megapicel camera, which can capture pictures as well as videos and it will be powered by Apple’s latest A4 processor.

The new MacBook Air is expected to reach 400,000 units in 2010 while the new iPod Touch is expected to reach 17-18 million units this year.
