Microsoft Windows Phone Beta Developer Tools now Available

The early version of the development tools for Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 have been around for quite a long time but it finally looks like it is nearing completion as the beta version is now available for developers interested in this mobile platform.

Microsoft is also supporting this new beta by saying that the built represents the near final version so probably when the time comes to shift the app over to the devices you may not have to go through a lot of trouble. The API as been tweaked and Expression Blend is now fully integrated with the tools. Although, it currently lacks a few controls which still need to ready for primetime and they will be added over the coming weeks.

If you are not much interested in the emulator, then you might be excited to know that developer devices will be shipping out next week and you may very soon get one if you have signed up for it.
