Micromax launches Superfone A80 Infinity for Rs 8,490
Micromax has now launched a new device it their Superfone series of Android-based smartphones. This new smartphone is called the Micromax Superfone A80 Infinity and will be an Android 2.3 Gingerbread based device with a huge 2,500 mAh battery.
The Superfone A80 Infinity sports a 3.6-inch display, 5 megapixel rear camera and a secondary front facing 0.3 megapixel camera for video calling. It is a dual-SIM capable device which is powered by an 800MHz processor and it supports expandable memory up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The prime feature of the A80 Infinity is the 2,500 mAh lithium ion battery which the company claims will provide up to 7 hours of talk time and 288 hours of standby battery life. It is the first entry-level Android smartphone to include such a massive battery. This is the same capacity battery as the one of the Samsung Galaxy Note but from a different manufacturer.
The Superfone A80 Infinity will go up against the recently announced Spice Stellar and iBall Andi series of Android smartphones. Micromax has officially priced the smartphone at Rs 8,490 and it will also include the voice assistant tool AISHA.
