Lava XOLO Q600 launched for Rs. 8,999, is powered by a quad-core processor
Lava has now officially launched its fourth smartphone in the Q series, it is called the Xolo Q600. This device is an affordable Android smartphone which is powered by quad-core processor and is priced at just Rs. 8,999.
The XOLO Q600 is a dual-SIM capable smartphone which sports a 4.5-inch TFT FWVGA (480×854 pixels) resolution display with a pixel density of 217ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MTK ARM Cortex A7 processor and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU along with 512MB of RAM. The device further includes 4GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The device measures 11.9mm thick and it comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system. In terms of the connectivity the device supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities.
It sports a 5 megapixel rear camera and a secondary front facing VGA quality camera which can be used for video calling. Further, the XOLO Q600 comes pre-loaded with the company’s anti-theft software and it includes a 2,000 mAh battery which is rated to provide up to 13.4 hours of talktime on 2G and up to 10 hours on 3G. It provides a standby time of 333 hours.
