Huawei Nexus 6P – What Makes a Smartphone Great?
What makes a great smartphone? Now that’s a tough question to answer because everyone has different tastes. What I mean by this is that some people might enjoy phones with huge displays while other won’t. However, if there’s a phone that can be considered as near-perfect it has to be Nexus 6P.
Nexus 6P represents a “pure” Android experience because it’s being directly managed by Google. However, that’s not what really makes it great. Even though having a highly optimized operating system is nice and all, hardware power is what really matters when it comes to smartphones. Huawei is the company that’s responsible for Nexus 6P’s hardware and today we’re going to take a closer look at it.
In order to get a better understanding of why Nexus 6P is considered as one of the greatest smartphones ever made we will have to take a look under its hood. Right from the start we can see that Nexus 6P is fueled by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor that’s been coupled with an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM. These hardware parts are more than capable of running any app.
Leaving the hardware power department aside, let’s see what are some of Nexus 6P’s features. First off, the smartphone features fast charging support which works perfectly with its huge non-removable Li-Po 3,450 mAh battery. Furthermore, the smartphone also ships with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner alongside these following cool features: gyro, compass, accelerometer and barometer.
Nexus 6P is a great smartphone for people who love shooting videos and taking selfies because it features a 12.3MP rear camera that’s been equipped with laser autofocus, dual-LED, flash and f/2.0. On the front side though, we can find a smaller 8MP f/2.4 selfie camera that’s able of recording videos at 720p resolution and 240 frames per second.
