ASUS U43JC and U43F Notebooks with Bamboo Body

Best Buy has now listed two new ASUS notebooks which have a bamboo body, the ASUS U43JC and the ASUS U43F are on their website and they seem to be quite affordable. Each features a 14-inch screen with some nice specifications and is priced under $1,000.

The new ASUS U43 has a Core i5-450M processor, supported Intel’s UMA graphics and omes with a 14-inch LED-backlit HD widescreen display. It also has 4GB of RAM, 640GB HDD and an 8-cell battery (5+ hours). The ASUS U43F is priced at $949 and comes along with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

The ASUS U43JC has similar specifications to the U43F but it is much better on the graphics as it comes with an NVIDIA Optimus / GeForce 310M GPU. This brilliant add-on takes the ASUS U43JC price tag to $999.

Both the new notebooks are expected to start shipping out by the end of this month. So, if you are looking for a laptop with nice specifications and a bamboo body, just so that it looks classic, then this might be the right choice.
