Yet another milestone achieved by the famous Apple App Store. This Apple service known for the variety of applications for its iOS devices has now surpassed 15 billion app downloads with the help of more than 200 million iPod touch, iPad and iPhone devices. This of course excludes the apps which many users download on jailbroken devices.
The Apple App Store is currently available in more than 90 countries and includes about 425,000 applications including the 100,000 apps designed specifically for the Apple iPad. Apple has further mentioned that developers developing iOS apps have been paid $2.5 billion since the start of the service.
