Acer Iconia A501 64GB Honeycomb Tablet Coming to AT&T
Acer is stirring up yet another Iconia tablet. This one is going to be very similar to the already existing Iconia Tab A500, however there are two slight changes and it would be making its way to AT&T.
With regards to the specifications, the tablet will be the same as A500 as it will sport a 10.1-inch display, 1GB RAM, dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and the same cameras. However, this upcoming AT&T version will include 3G connectivity and its storage capacity is bumped up to 64GB.
Increased storage capacity seems like a great move as users will be able to carry a lot more data on this device. Additionally, it will also allow users to increase the storage using a microSD card. This new upgraded Android Honeycomb tablet will be known as Iconia Tab A501.
No pricing and availability of the device has been announced yet and it seems it may see a slight increase in the price with the addition of the 3G modem and increased space.
