A few days ago, we were telling you that Opera Mini has received a big update for users of Java-based handsets and now it’s time to talk about updates to the iOS and Android versions.
Undoubtedly, Opera Mini is one of the best browsers to have on your mobile devices, be it an Android smartphone or tablet, an iPhone or an iPad.
Opera Mini updated for iPhone, iPad users
Recently, the app has been updated for iOS users, bringing back a single column view, a feature that’s been requested by many iPhone and iPad owners. Also, an occasional issue with the virtual joystick that was having problems has been fixed.
As always, various other stability and performance improvements have been issued as well. Users are pleased with the latest version, one of them saying the following:
“I like this new update of Opera Mini, but really would like the ability to increase font size, and perhaps a boldface option. Also would be great to have a feature like Safari’s “Reader” mode. The data compression modes are terrific. Should help to keep me from blowing past my data caps.”

Opera Mini has recently been updated for Android users, bringing a bunch of bug fixes along with stability and performance improvements.
