2014 New iPads Release: Rounding up Latest Leaks, Rumors, Patents

There are some speculations over the internet about the release of the new iPad Mini 3. There’s still no official information about the release of this device, but some analysts claim that it will show up in the stores before October 2014.

The third device from iPad Mini series will be labeled under the name of “iPad Mini Air.” Taiwan’s Economic Daily News reports that the iPad Mini Air will have an extremely thin body, and it will be 30% less thick than the current version of iPad Mini.

The new iPad Mini Air will come with a new A8 processor and Retina Display. It is rumored that the third generation iPad Mini will feature a durable Touch ID fingerprint sensor, as well as support for iOS 8’s new SDK that allows third-party developers to access the fingerprint scanner for the purpose of verification.

Besides iPad Mini 3, some sources claim that the iPad Air 2 model will be released before the end of 2014, along with 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but others sources decline that.

Time will show which side was right. Korean site ETNews reports that the new iPad Air 2 will stick to the original design, with its 9.7-inch Retina LCD display at 2048 x 1536 resolution. T

he camera has also been upgraded; the old 5mpx camera has been replaced with a new 8-megapixel rear camera. The device will also have a larger sensor for improved low-light performance. The iPad Air 2’s version of iOS 8 will supply directly to the size of the tablet, when it comes to taking pictures.

The iPad Air 2 will also include an improved A8 processor, which will benefit both performance and battery life.

Repeatedly, sources around the web have different claims about the release of these devices, and there is still no official information about the exact date of their release.
