Tizen OS Gets a GOLD Treatment: Check out These Samsung Z Pics
Samsung could make a surprising move on the mobile market by releasing more Tizen OS backed smartphones, such as the upcoming Samsung Z which could get a gold model.
However, many are getting “bored” and are curious to try out new operating system on mobile devices, not to mention that such OEMs like Samsung have the power to create them and to get ride of the Android dependency.
The company’s recently announced Samsung Z smartphone will feature Tizen OS but its release date has been further delayed. However, at the recent Tizen Developer Summit Russia 2014, the smartphone has been showcased in a pretty alluring gold color.
We must agree that it does look pretty attractive and it might constitute a nice way to attract buyers. As a reminder, here are the tech specs of the Samsung Z:
- 4.8-inch 1280×720 Super AMOLED display
- 2.3GHz quad-core processor
- 8-megapixel rear and 2.1-megapixel front cameras
- 2GB of RAM
- 16GB of storage and a microSD card slot
- 2600mAh battery
- Special software features – Ultra Power Saving Mode, Download Booster, S Health 3.0, Color theme customization, Fingerprint sensor
These are some pretty decent specs if we take into consideration that this is basically the first smartphone to carry Tizen OS onboard. Of course, it’s a smartphone move from Samsung’s side since it makes sure that the device delivers a great performance that puts Tizen OS under the spotlight.
