LEAKED: GTA 5 Release Date For PC, PS4 and Xbox One
We already know that GTA 5 will be launching this fall for PCs, PS4s and Xbox Ones. Courtesy of this latest leak, we now have a definitive release date for the title. Check it out below.
GTA 5 will be releasing this fall for PCs, Xbox Ones and PS4s, Rockstar confirmed back at E3 2014. The developer didn’t give us a definitive release date, but a retailer has now leaked a planned arrival date for the game, as shown in the screenshot above.
If all goes along as planned, GTA 5 will be arriving for the next-gen consoles on November 14th 2014.
As far as what we’ve seen so far in various trailers and screenshots, GTA 5 has some pretty slick graphics on the newer consoles.
The game already has some rock-solid fans enjoying it on the current consoles, and based on that, we can pretty surely say that November 14th 2014 will be a sales milestone for Rockstar.
Still, based on previous history, we’ll be taking this leak with a pinch of salt. We’ve seen various retailers leak such dates (which are mostly fake) in order to get a bit of publicity, which in turn could get them a lot of pre-orders.
“’Grand Theft Auto V’ will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail.
“Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.”
GTA 5 isn’t the only release date we’ve seen pop up so far. A couple of weeks back, Mass Effect 4 popped up on Amazon while the PS4 version of Beyond: Two Souls was spotted on a couple of German retailer websites.
And not only that, we’ve also seen the iPhone 6 pop up on a couple of phony websites with immediate shipping options. We’ll be sure to let you know if anything else pops up, so stay tuned.
