Max Payne 4: My WISHLIST and a Possible Release Date
As a big fan of the Max Payne franchise, I can’t wait for another release. But it looks like me, and other Max Payne fans are going to wait for a long time, until the next Max Payne release.
Let’s start with a few words about Max Payne 3. Released in 2012, Max Payne 3 was one of the most popular games of the year, receiving many positive critical acclaims. The storyline was great, and many people enjoyed in shooting and chasing with angry Brazilians.
Graphics were on a high level, as well, and characters have been looking very realistic. Globally, Max Payne 3 was a great game, and its sequel is much anticipated by all its fans.
Max Payne 4 Possible release date
Before everything, I have to tell you that Max Payne 4 has not been officially announced, and all information that you read in this article is based on predictions and expectations from Max Payne fans, including myself. According to the history of releases, ten years passed between Max Payne 2 and Max Payne 3.
So, people, expect the 4th installment of the franchise to be released ten years after its prequel. Which means that new game is expected to be released somewhere in 2022. Unfortunately, no one has exact information about its actual release, and only thing that we can do is to guess.
But here’s my wishlist for the things I’d like to see in the game.
Max Payne 4 features wishlist
I’d like to start my request list with a location of the game. As you know, Max Payne 3 was held in Brazil, you have to admit that it is a very exotic location (if we exclude all the terror from favelas, which we faced in the game). It would be great if Max Payne 4 could take place in a place that’s just as exotic. It would be a real enchantment for the gameplay.
One of the most notable features in Max Payne 3 was the legendary “bullet time”. It is Max’s ability to slow down time in order to shoot the enemies with more accuracy. This is definitely the feature that I, and I believe many Max Payne fans, would like to see in the new game. If this feature remains, it will certainly be improved,
And finally, let’s talk about the graphics. As mentioned, Max Payne 3 had really good and realistic graphics, featuring RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine) and EDAE (Euphoria Dynamic Animation Engine) engines.
Max and the other characters looked almost real in the game. But, I’m afraid that nobody (expect, probably Rocstar staff) could tell you exact details about the graphics of Max Payne 4. Because, if the predictions are true, and the game gets released after 2020, thousands of years will pass in the world of technology.
And we can not know what the future standards of graphics will be. But one thing is almost certain, Max Payne 4 graphics will BLOW OUR MINDS!
