Waze App for Android Issued a BIG Update Recently, Did you Miss it?

Albeit it’s been a while since Waze has updated its Android app, we’ve decided to remind those of you who’re running it what exactly are the new features and options.

Waze is not just a navigation app, but a large community based traffic and navigation apps where you get to join drivers in your area who share real-time traffic and road information which eventually can help you save time and gas money.

At the end of the previous month, it’s been bumped to version 3.8, bringing a plethora of new features.

You can now reply to annoying texts and calls that are distracting your form driving with commands as “Leaving now,” “Stuck in traffic,” “Almost there!”.

It’s now possible to find friends on Waze by adding Contacts and you can also send friend requests & manage your list. There’s also a new design for sending location that looks much better than the previous one.

Locations sent between friends are saved for future navigation, so if you plan on retaking a certain route, you can now easily find it. It’s also possible to share the drive from ETA screen so that somebody else could have access to this information.

With the updated Waze app for Android devices you can now see who’s viewing your shared drive and keep Waze on screen when answering calls. As usually, there have been squashed a lot of other bugs, so if you have something to share, then leave your comment below and let us know.
