Verizon Prepaid Users to Get 4G LTE on 17th July
Verizon has recently announced that users of their prepaid subscription plan will finally get access to massive 4G LTE. Verizon will introduce 4G for its prepaid users as a part of Allset plan on July 17.
Verizon is currently the only major telecommunications carrier which does not offer 4G services for its prepaid users in the US. This introduction of 4G services is a must for Verizon if they want to remain in step with their competition.
Because Verizon’s net prepaid user adds declined by 76% from the prior year quarter to 10,000, and net postpaid user adds declined over 20% to 539,000, and lack of 4G services for prepaid users certainly had a big effect on it.

This was Verizon’s worst performance on the field of subscriber net adds in the last two years. Competition in the prepaid market gets bigger every year, so Verizon will have to keep their prices reasonable, as well, if they want to improve their gains.
On the 17th of July, Verizon’s Allset prepaid plan, which features unlimited talk, text and 500 MB of data for $45, will get addition in form of 4G LTE access. There is also a possibility of adding a bridge data to this plan.
Verizon currently offers bridge data at 500MB for $5, 1 GB for $10 and 3 GB for $20. If those add-ons stay the same until the 17th July, you’ll be able to get 4G LTE and 3.5 GB of data for the price of $65. Verizon also offers a promo that will provide you additional 500 MB of data, just for signing up for auto-pay.
So it makes this deal even better, because you’ll get 4 GB of LTE data with unlimited text and talks for only $65 per month. You can’t say that this is not a good deal.
Once it’s released, you’ll be able to sign-up for Verizon’s Allset prepaid plan through Verizon’s website, direct or indirect channels, and by calling Verizon’s customer service.
In addition, the screenshot below, taken from Verizon’s Testman site, shows us models that will be available on prepaid, after the plan becomes available. The most notable phone from this offer will definitely be LG G2, which is a 4G LTE device, itself.
