Apple’s 2014 Back To School: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Mac Promotions
Apple has recently launched its traditional summer promotion “Back to School” for students. Apple will give gift cards for the 2014 sale, redeemable at App Store, Mac App Store, iTunes Store, and iBookstore. This is a great opportunity for students to save their money and buy Apple products at affordable prices.
For buying any Mac (except Mac Mini), students will receive a $100 gift card, while purchases of iPad and iPhone will get them a $50 gift card. Analysts say that this promotion might be Apple’s preparation for major releases like iPhone 6, 2014 MacBook Pro and the iPad Air 2.
This promotion is eligible for all teachers and students who are planning to buy a new Mac, iPad or iPhone currently on sale at the Apple Store. Apple has been encouraging the use of these promotion in order to support education. This is all part of Apple’s initiative for modernized education in schools.
According to Apple Insider, a Mac can be purchased with a discount of around $200 if it’s for educational purposes, also the iPad’s discount for educational purpose is around $30. But, Apple is not offering these discount deals to the iPhone. The iPhone series is also excluded from the on-contract buys.
The 2014 Back to school promotion will be available for interested students and teachers from July 1st until September 9th, and it will be available in many regions worldwide, including US, Canada, UK and many other European countries.
Students and teachers will get the right for gift cards if they buy any of the specified products at Apple’s physical outlets or in the online Apple Store.
