Is OnePlus Preparing a Tablet Launch, to be Dubbed OnePlus Tab?

OnePlus has managed to produce a pleasant surprise with the OnePlus smartphone, and now we wonder of a tablet launch.

Take a close look at the above picture and let me know what you find unusual about the screenshot which has been made public by well-known leaker @evleaks.

So, as you can see, the inside menu of the OnePlus website seems to be pointing at a OnePlus Tab tablet, with an unknown release, price or specifications at the moment.

OnePlus has prepared very well the release of its OnePlus One smartphone, saying that it is going to be the “world’s best smartphone”. The big advantage of the handset is that it comes at an accessible price, despite offering premium specs.

While OnePlus is definitely still busy marketing its first product, which has to face huge competition in the crowded Android smartphone market, it’s quite possible that the OEM is also interested in bringing its first tablet to fans.

OnePlus used CyanogenMod on its smartphone and this is one of its main specific features, so don’t be surprised if it will make an appearance on the rumored OnePlus Tab tablet.

The OnePlus One features comes with pretty impressive specs and only costs $299 without a contract, and if we’ll see the same strategy with the OnePlus tablet, then this new player has all the chances of growing a stable fan-bases.

  1. It would be nice if they could release the OnePlus One first to more than a few hundred people. Not interested until they act like a reliable company.
