PES 2015 Release Approaching, Read the Most Important Recent Details
I’m a big fan of the PES series, but I feel that for a few good years, there hasn’t been issued a big revamp. PES 2015 could change that once it get released.
Konami is under a lot of pressure from EA who has improved its FIFA football (or soccer for you in North America) series quite a lot over the past year. Konami itself said that 2014 was half-done and that it doesn’t want to repeat the mistake with the 2015 title.
PES 2015 will see a return to the core PES values of total control, super responsive controls and renowned gameplay. Key elements of gameplay have been reworked, and there’s now a new shooting system, new final pass options, such as little knock-ons or low passes, and also increased control of your dribbling skills in one-on-one situations.
I always thought that the shooting system had some big flaws and I’m happy to hear that Konami is going to improve. Can’t look forward to get my hands on it. Here are other features that will make their way to the game:
- Incredible Response Times: Lightning fast controls allow users to instinctively react to every movement when the ball is in play
- Full Pitch AI: The game engine now features AI that is constantly adjusted covering everything that develops on the pitch, resulting in players making runs, finding space and marking opponents even when off the screen
- Closest Control: Take on defenders using each player’s bespoke dribbling skills, as opposed to relying on ‘trick’ moves. New skills include jinking runs, responsive sprints and incorporating a much wider range of pace – from walking to sprinting
- Case for Defence: Users have complete control over when to close down, tackle, or hold up play. Successful defending is based entirely on the decisions the user makes.
PES 2015 is expected to be released on Xbox One and the PS4 this fall or winter. An official release date hasn’t been set yet, but we will be keeping an eye on that, as well.
