Infamous: Second Son First Light DLC Release Date Set, Features Abigail “Fetch” Walker

Infamous: Second Son is one of the most popular PS4 games around and now we’re hearing some interesting news related to an exciting DLC

Infamous: First Light, the downloadable content for PS4’s blockbuster InFamous Second Son, is set to be released on 26th August 2014. First Light will be available as a standalone game meaning you won’t need to have InFamous to play it. If you do own InFamous though, Sony promises that you will be given access to exclusive content.

First Light will feature Abigail “Fetch” Walker, instead of Second Son protagonist Delsin Rowe, which came as a surprise for many. The DLC will explain Fetch’s story, which will include her drug abuse, heartache and abandonment.

Developer Sucker Punch has also reported that it may release additional standalone content for Infamous: Second Son if the first DLC is popular amongst the fans of the franchise. It was pretty evident that First Light’s success would dictate the future of DLCs for the game.

According to game producer Brian Flemming:

“The prison at Curdun Cay and the mountains that surround that are big new parts of the story and the gameplay experience.”

During a recent interview with IGN, Infamous:Second Sen game director Nate Fox also mentioned that the studio does not work on multiple titles at a time, meaning that Infamous: Second Son will not be supported any more once Sucker Punch finds a new project to work on.

InFamous: Second Son First Light DLC will release on the PlayStation store on August 26 for $14.99. Are you excited? Because here at Gigjets we definitely are! Have a look at a previous trailer of the DLC:
