Dark Souls 2 The Lost Crowns DLC for PC Gamers to get Released Soon

Fans of Dark Souls II, lend me your eyes! Yes, my friends, excitement builds as we near the release date for the first episode of Dark Souls DLC Trilogy. The episode entitled “Crown of the sunken king” promises to leave hardcore fans in awe with a completely different world to what they have seen in original title.

Players will travel through a massive cavern filled with giant stepped-pyramids to recover king Vendricks’ crown. Though this will be no easy task, because with the new world Namco has created they naturally didn’t forget about adding a few fiendish creatures along the way. One of these is a giant dragon hidden somewhere in the massive space.

There is another added bonus to this expansion –  the multiple path feature. As the name suggests, it gives you the option to choose your own path. There is even an achievement called “The Narrow Way” granted only to those brave enough to traverse the most challenging path. (Which is filled with traps and horrible enemies to fight off.)

Like the original title, the first instalment will also be available on Steam and they call it a season pass. You will find the add to cart button to get you one of the first copies to be released. Even though the release of the first episode in the trilogy is late next month, Namco is keeping everyone in the dark concerning the two episodes.

Which are “Crown of the old iron king” (Episode 2) and “Crown of the ivory king” (Episode 3), respectively. They are scheduled for release in August and September this year.
I must admit curiosity has gotten the better of me, and I can’t wait to see what the other episodes have in store for us.

  1. As long as it has actually difficulty and not ‘cheap’ difficulty (Vendrick and his amazing stun lock ability, broken hit boxes and Amana as a few examples) or ‘you must join this covenant to make the game more difficult because we don’t want to scare off potential buyers’ difficulty. To put it into context I’ve yet to beat Manus on DS1 yet no matter how many ascetics I burn I breeze through the final two boss battles in DS2 (Watcher and Defender into Nashandra).
