RIM launches the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9881 in India
Research In Motion has officially launched their much exclusive BlackBerry device in the Indian market. This device with Porsche co-brandaing is called the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9881 and the company has officially priced it at Rs 1,39,990.
Of course this is a premium designed and targeted at the cream amongst the huge Indian population, but apart from its much appealing design the device is nothing a but a glorified BlackBerry Bold 9900.
In regards to the specifications, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9881 is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and it includes 768MB of RAM. The device has a 2.8-inch display with a 64×480 pixel resolution, 286 ppi screen, a portrait QWERTY keypad, 8GB of built-in storage, expandable storage up to 32GB using a microSD card and runs BlackBerry OS 7.0.
Apart from all the prime BlackBerry features like push mail, BBM, etc. the device includes a 5 megapixel rear camera with 720p video recording and it includes a 1230 mAh battery which is rated for up to 348 hours of stand-by and 5 hours 30 minutes of talktime.
