Libretto W100 Dual-Screen Notebook from Toshiba
Toshiba has launched a new dual screen notebook, called the Toshiba Libretto W100. The Toshiba W100 is a notebook which does not have a physical keyboard, but is instead replaced by a virtual one which uses one of the screens.
The Libretto W100 looks really portable, it uses Windows 7 touch features, it also lets you drag one application from one screen to another and it can be used in landscape as well as portrait modes. The Libretto W100 features an Intel U5400 processor, 2GB of RAM, 62GB of SSD and one USB 2.0 port. It also has a 1 megapixel web camera, microSD card reader and the battery life is supposed to give you up to five hours of usage.
Here is a short video of W100 in action:
There are no details yet on how much the Toshiba Libretto W100 will cost but it is expected to go on sale in the UK later in the summer. Also, it looks like it would be limited edition and only a few will go on sale.
