Apple launches iWork applications for the iPhone



Apple recently released its latest version of the iWork productivity apps for iPhone and iPod Touch. Currently, iWork consists of three applications which include – Pages, Numbers and Keynote. These applications were previously available for the Apple iPad and now, Apple has now launched it for smaller iOS devices.

Users will be able to export/import files to their iOS devices from a Mac, iPad or Microsoft Office. The Keynote app is Apple’s version of Microsoft PowerPoint and lets you creates presentations. The Pages app reminds you of Microsoft Word which will allow users to create documents. The Numbers app reminds you of Microsoft Excel which will allow users to create tables, charts, etc.

With the inclusion of the iWork productivity apps the iPhone sure becomes slightly more enterprise friendly. The new application is available globally and is priced $10 each.
