Antec India launches GX700 and V1 enclosures in the country [Updated with Price]
Antec is well known in the PC gaming community for their nifty computer components and accessories for PC gamers. The company has now launched its GX700 and V1 enclosures in the Indian market for gaming enthusiasts in the country.
The GX700 which is a military themed mid-tower chassis for gamers and the V1 which is an entry-level enclosure for the low budget system builders and gamers were recently announced at the BYOC Gaming Festival 2013 which was held in New Delhi.
The Antec GX700 is a gaming chassis which features metal clasps and rugged drive bay covers. It has tool-less drive bays and customizable HDD/SSD mount trays which enable a faster assembly of the unit. It can accommodate GPUs up to 11.5 inches and integrates a unique flip access fan controller which is placed next to the easy-to-access USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connectors.
The two 140mm top fans on the GX700 are capable of mounting a 240mm cooling radiator for improved cooling for the system. This one will come in a unique black and military green color combination.
The Antec V1 is an entry-level chassis for enthusiasts and it features an impressive design at an attractive price. The company claims it has ample cooling options, USB 3.0 connectivity, tool-less 5.25 inches and 3.5 inches drive bays and bottom-mounted PSU intake with air-filter. The Antec V1 is available in three color variants for the front LED fan and mesh which include – blue, red and black.
Update: The Antec GX700 is priced at Rs. 4,150 and the Antec V1 is priced at Rs. 2,650.
