Popular Wine App Vivino Now Launches for Windows Phone Users
Vivino has created one of the world’s most popular wine apps and today it has been made available for Windows Phone users free of charge. The app has been previously available for Android and iPhone users, and now the third most important mobile ecosystem in the world welcomes the wine app that can help you take better care of your passion for wines.
The app has been developed in close collaboration with Windows developers, so that it meets the native interface design guidelines. Vivino’s CEO, Heini Zachariassen, said the following with regards to the release:
“We are thrilled that Windows users will now have access to our app. They will be able to join a community of more than four million enthusiasts who review, discuss and have access to information on countless wines from around the world. Vivino is for the average person who wants to know which wines real people like, not what wine critics tell them to drink. Windows users can now join the conversation with family and friends who already use Vivino via the iPhone and Android versions.
Joe Wilson, Microsoft’s General Manager at Worldwide Field Evangelism, added the following:
“We are excited to add Vivino to the ever growing list of apps offered to Window Phone users. Now millions more people around the world now have access to some of the most sophisticated and useful information for choosing and enjoying great wine. The app, just like sharing wine, is a social and friendly experience”.
