Asus Zenbook NX500 4K Ultrabook announced at Computex 2014

Along with all of its new and updated tablet devices, Asus has also launched a new ultrabook and Computex 2014. This new portable computer is called the Asus Zenbook NX500 and it comes with a 15.6-inch 4K resolution display.

This device will be powered by Intel Core processors with up to a Core i7 variant. The 15.6-inch display on this ultrabook provides a maximum resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.

As the first ASUS notebook with a 4K/UHD display with VisualMaster technology, Zenbook NX500 delivers stunningly crisp graphics and text, and comes ready to support future 4K video content. Its 15.6-inch 3840 x 2160 resolution IPS panel provides a large workspace for maximum efficiency and productivity. The display also delivers lifelike color reproduction with a wide color gamut (100% NTSC/108% Adobe RGB) and, plus factory-calibrated color temperature, making it perfect for photographers and other professionals who need accurate and consistent color fidelity for their workflows.

Combined with its 4K/UHD display, Zenbook NX500′s titanium-film speakers and SonicMaster audio technology, incorporating ICEpower®, Bang & Olufsen technology, ensures truly incredible video and sound quality for exceptional entertainment experiences.

Apart from the aforementioned, the device also includes NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M graphics with 2GB of GDDR4 RAM which can be expanded up to 16GB.

No pricing or availability has been announced for the Asus Zenbook NX500, but once available we will update you one the same.
