Asus unveils new MeMO Pad 7 and two MeMO Pad 8 variants at Computex 2014
Along with the two new FonePad devices, Asus has also launched the MeMO Pad 7 and two new variants of MeMO Pad 8 tablets at Computex 2014. These devices as well will come equipped with Intel 64-bit processors.
The MeMO Pad 7 tablet sports a 7-inch HD (1280×800 pixels) resolution IPS display. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core 64-bit processor which is clocked at 1.86 GHz.
The MeMO Pad 8 has two variants first being the ME181C which flaunts an 8-inch HD (1280×800 pixels) resolution IPS display and is powered by a 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core 64-bit processor. The second variant is known as the ME581CL and this one sports an 8-inch full HD (1920×1200 pixels) resolution IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core 64-bit processor and also supports LTE and NFC connectivity.
All the three tablets sport a 5 megapixel rear cameras and a secondary front facing 2 megapixel cameras. These will come pre-loaded with Android 4.4 Kit Kat, bundled with applications and services from Asus.
The MeMO Pad 7 will come in white, black blue, red and yellow colors, the MeMO Pad 8 (ME181C) will come in white, black, gold and purple colors, while the MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) will come in white, pink and blue colors.
These devices are expected to be available sometime from mid-June and at the moment there is no information about the pricing for these tablets.
