Wickedleak launches its 7-inch Wammy Desire Tab 2 for Rs. 9,999

After the successful launch of a few quad-core powered smartphones, Wickedleak has now launched its very first quad-core powered tablet which it calls the Wammy Desire Tab 2. This tablet will be available in the markets from the next week and it is officially priced at Rs. 9,999.

The Desire Tab 2 sports a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 Cortex A9 processor, which is supported by a Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

Apart from this the tablet features a 2 megapixel camera, a VGA quality front facing camera, 8GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot for expandable storage and a 3,300 mAh battery.

In terms of the connectivity the device is includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G capability via a USB dongle. The tablet will come pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and the company promises a Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for a later date.
