ViewSonic launches dual-SIM capable ViewPhone 3, priced 9,990 INR

ViewSonic has launched a new Android based smartphone in India. This is a dual-SIM capable device which runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is known as ViewSonic ViewPhone 3.

The ViewPhone 3 features a 3.5-inch multi-touch display which has a 320 x 480 pixels resolution. It has a custom virtual keypad known as TouchPal, it supports 3G networks and also includes WiFi tethering to connect multiple devices.

It is an entry-level smartphone which is powered by an 800 MHz processor, it has 512MB of RAM and ROM, a microSD card slot which supports expandable memory up to 32GB, 5 megapixel camera on the back and a 1500 mAh battery.

Regardless to say the device will go up against the existing dual-SIM capable Android smartphones from Micromax, Spice and also Samsung. We are yet to get our hands-on the device and hence can’t pass the final verdict.

The ViewPhone 3 will be available across all Reliance Digital stores and is officially priced at 9,990 INR. No information whether the device will get subsidized data plans from any network operators.
