Software update for the Samsung Gear S3 released in the United States
After launching the new pack update for Gear S3 last month available worldwide and also bringing the Samsung Pay for Gear S3 users in the United Kingdom, Samsung is now presenting a new update for his product!
This update releasing took place in the US, bringing a wide range of new features for the Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch, available for both Frontier and Classic versions. It’s one of the largest, important and discussed updates on the market.
Some of the features that come with it, include new data, music complications to watch faces, reminder for S Voice, a text to speech option where you can download different languages from around the globe, Auto Switch (as well for the Gear S2 and Gear Fit2) and much more.
If somehow your Gear S3 gets lost, you can access Find My Device which has a new feature for the contact info display.
This new update helps you read comfortably the News Briefing UI in comparison with the oldest updates and The Stop Watch time has now been increased for up to 3 hours.
These features are identical with what users from UK and Germany received at the end of March and it seems like it has been provided also for the Frontier LTE model.
An advantage the United States Gear S3 update has is that Samsung is uniting forces with different apps accessible on the Galaxy App Store for you to use on your smartwatch. We are talking about Spotify, which is also available for the older versions of the Samsung Gear S, BMW Connected, launched this winter, Facer, another app also released this winter that provides the ability to see a new watch face whenever you please and of course, NYC Transit.
