Moto G 2016 To Be Released This Month with Best Specs
According to reports, Motorola will release its 4th generation Moto G series of smartphones sometime soon. Last week, Motorola India has started to send invites for an event that will be held in New Delhi on May 17, 2016.
There are many rumors which say that this is the event when Motorola will finally launch the Moto G 2016 (also known as Moto G4). At the same time, during this event, Motorola India might also announce the rumored Moto G4 Plus device, which will come with a fingerprint sensor and other useful options.
Unfortunately, in the press invitation, Motorola India didn’t say what it will unveil and, instead, it just revealed a place, a date and an hour. We remind you that Motorola has released its Moto G3 in India first and after that, it was made available globally.
Motorola has been purchased by Lenovo and since then, the Chinese multinational technology company has confirmed that it has plans to overhaul the Moto brand to “Moto By Lenovo”. With other words, the Moto G4 will most likely be released with a different branding compared to its predecessors.
The rumored Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus have been leaked a few times in the past and we’ve seen some images and videos, but none of the leaks have been confirmed by Motorola. The leaked images have shown a white colored Moto G4 Plus featuring a square-shaped fingerprint sensor that was placed inside a “Home” button. In the same image, we’ve seen a speaker grille, a rear camera with flash and autofocus, a front-facing camera and a logo below the camera.
On the other hand, the video that has leaked on YouTube has showcased the Moto G4 without a fingerprint sensor. With other words, the Moto G4 will most likely not feature a fingerprint sensor, which might disappoint a few consumers.
