iPad Pro vs. iPad Air 2 – Storage Capacity and Improvements Battle
To start off with, the iPad Pro is considerably more expensive than the iPad Air 2, but the price is justifiable for a few reasons. iPad Air 2 on the other hand is capable of running two applications simultaneously, features a Touch ID, Retina Display, aesthetical similarities to the iPad Pro, and a starting price of just $399. However, the iPad Pro’s strength comes from its internals and that’s going be its main selling point.
The iPad Pro was designed to be a replacement for a laptop, and as such has some features which aims to achieve that. First off, it comes in either a 9.7-inch display or a 12.9-inch display, with storage capacities of either 32GB, 128 GB or 256GB. In contrast, the iPad Air 2 only has 16GB and 64GB models.
Support for the Apple Pencil
An important reason to choose the iPad Pro is the fact that its displays are designed to work with Apple’s Pencil. The iPad Air 2 is not designed to work with the Pencil and as such loses points in the comparison between them. You can use the iPad Air 2 with another stylus but those do not have the same accuracy and performance as the Pencil.
This feature will automatically make a pair between any compatible accessories by using the magnetic port it has. This will remove the need to manually pair up a Bluetooth device, as it will be done automatically as soon as you plug in the accessory. Only the iPad Pro has this feature.
The iPad Pro comes with a A9X processor, while the iPad Air 2 has the A8X. This means that you will have better graphics and a faster response time from the iPad Pro. The processor will also contribute to the efficiency of the Pencil.
