Google Nexus 2016 to be Released During I/O Developer Conference In May 2016
Many rumors and speculations have surfaced all over the internet about the upcoming Google Nexus 7. According to new reports, the Google Nexus 7 will be released during the Google’s I/O Developer Conference, an event that will be held during May 18-20, 2016 and which will take place in California.
It’s not the first time when the big search engine company is asking different tech manufacturer to make devices for them. In the past, Google has worked with Samsung, HTC, Motorola, Asus and Huawei and in concordance with GottaBeMobile, the giant company has already teamed up with HTC to create the new Nexus 7 device.
Until now, Google hasn’t confirmed the development of this device or when it will be released, but several online tech publications have reported that the Google Nexus 7 2016 will be released this year and it will come with a force touch feature. We remind you that this technology was originally developed by Apple, which is Google’s biggest rival.
If this feature will be included on the upcoming Nexus 7, it will surely put it ahead of the competition and there will be many people who will want to purchase it.
The Nexus 7 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm. At the same time, the handset is expected to come in two variants: one that will feature a 5-inch display and the other will have a larger 7-inch screen. Both devices will come with the same chipset (the one we’ve mentioned above) that will feature an NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor. The upcoming handset will support 4 GB of RAM and it will be powered by a 3000 mAh battery.
The Nexus 7 will feature a microSD card that will support cards with a maximum capacity of 2TB, which will surely make many people very happy.
