Fallout 4 1.5 Update Features and Fixes
The Fallout four 1.5 update is now available to download on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, after being released previously on PC.
This new update has 2.37GB in size and comes packed with the Survival Mode difficulty while also fixing bugs and preparing the prologue for the Far Harbor DLC expected to be released on May 19th of this year.
There will be improved 3rd person camera movement when the players are close up against walls and other things.
New Survival Difficulties
The Survival Mode adds new challenges such as: saving only when you sleep, increased lethality through fatigue, disease and danger, no fast travel and many others.
In order to set the character to Survival Mode, look it up at the Character Selection Filter.
The 1.5 update brings stability, improved performance and fixes many issues such as the one where Ada does not travel properly to an assigned settlement, the one with the crash related to reloading a save that relies on Automatron, the one where Workshop placed light bulbs would not light properly, the one where terminals would not work after downloading and initializing an Add-On, the one with the distance check with Robotic Expert perk and many others.
Furthermore, during ‘The Nuclear Option’ fast travelling from the Institute will no longer block progression and using the targeting helmet will no longer force the player into combat mode and be stuck in the institute. But you probably want to discover all of these by yourself.
Bethesda – the game’s developers – has sent out beta codes fro Far Harbor on all of the three platforms. They went to all players so you should check your mail to see if you got it.
Mods will come to Xbox One sometime in may and to PlayStation 4 in June.
