Samsung unveils its new NX3000 SMART Camera

Samsung earlier announced its new NX3000, which is a mirrorless system camera, sporting retro looks with improved hardware and connectivity. Samsung says that one of the key feature of this camera is its ability to capture great selfies with ease.

The Samsung NX3000 SMART is equipped with a 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor which is capable of providing a maximum ISO of 25,600. The shutter speed can go up to 1/4000 and the continuous shooting speed clocks in at 5 frames per second.

As mentioned above this camera loves to take selfies, to help you do that Samsung has equipped it with some useful tools. Like the 3-inch flip-up display which is viewable from the front of the camera. It also has a new feature called “Wink Shot” allowing you to capture a selfie simply by winking at the camera after you have framed the selfie.

In terms of the connectivity, the NX3000 offers Wi-Fi and NFC support for transferring photos. It works with NFC enabled smartphones and tablets allowing rapid transfer of photographs after the device is paired with the camera.

The release date for the Samsung NX3000 is yet to be announced, however we know that it will come in black, white and brown colors and Adobe Lightroom 5 will be bundled with the device. The first kit includes a 20-50mm lens and SEF-8 flash unit this is priced at $479 while the other kit includes a 16-50mm OIS Power Zoom and an SEF-8 flash, this kit is priced at $529.
