Google Announces Updated Android Development Environment

Google has after long finally announced the development of a new environment for Android called Android Studio. Some of the big features included are layout tools that will help developers make apps that scale properly across every screen-form, especially tablets.

The development console will be live where developers will be able to see real-time changes. A section for optimization and development tips will also be included. An app translation service that serves professional translations directly from the console will also be integrated.

Another great feature is the referral tracking which will enable the developers to know what ads are more effective in promoting their apps. An Analytics service along with a revenue graph is also included.

The new console will enable the developers to roll out test version of apps before full public roll-out.
