Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586.218 to be Released Soon
It’s been a while since Microsoft has been testing the new update for Windows 10 Mobile Version 1551. According to reports, The American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington, has been testing the Build 10586.218 internally, which is expected to be released soon for the Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Ring.
The Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.218 is already on the Microsoft’s update servers, which means that the company will most likely push it to the Insiders in the next days.
We remind you that the Redstone build was supposed to be released last week, along with the PC sibling, but a cellular data bug has made Microsoft to delay it until a fix was released for it. However, Gabe Aul, the head of the Windows Insider Program, has announced that this build will be released this week, which means that, now, everyone is waiting to receive it on their mobile devices.
However, keep in mind that this is a cumulative update, and this type of update rarely comes with new features and instead, it brings bug fixes and performance improvements.
At the same time, this cumulate update is very important for many users that are inside the Windows Insider program, as some devices are not supported by “RTM” Windows 10 Mobile upgrade, but they will be able to keep running the preview builds as part of the 10586 branch. With other words, even if they are not allowed to upgrade to Redstone releases, they will still be able to stick with the 10586 and install these cumulative updates whenever they get released.
However, Microsoft didn’t confirm anything about the release of the cumulative update, but according to all reports that have surfaced all over the internet, it appears that this week is going to be a busy one for the Windows Insiders.
