The Flipin’ BlackBerry Style 9670 Now Available in India

Research is Motion (RIM) the guys behind BlackBerry mobile phone have officially launched a new CDMA based phone in the Indian market. It is the BlackBerry Style 9670 which is now available across the country. It is a flip phone with a full QWERTY keypad and runs the latest BlackBerry 6 mobile operating system.

The BlackBerry Style 9670 features an optical trackpad, and two displays – a 2.7-inch internal display with a 360 x 400 pixel resolution and another external display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution display. It is equipped a 5 megapixel camera with flash and video recording capabilities. Other features on this device include built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, 32GB expandable memory via microSD, 3G CDMA (which is apparently not available in India yet and MTS is expected to be the first one to rollout CDMA based 3G networks) and the BlackBerry Messenger services.

The phone will be available without any contracts. It is priced at Rs. 24,990.
