We think it’s safe to say that Nexus 7 (2017) is the most anticipated tech device of this year. The original model of Nexus 7 first came out in 2012, but now Android fans should be getting ready for a revamp. In fact, Google’s upcoming tablet was expected to ship somewhere around 2016 but things didn’t go according to Google’s plan, and the tablet’s release date was rescheduled.

The Android parent has yet to confirm that Nexus 7 (2017) is on its way, but this isn’t stopping Android fans from sparking up rumors. Brand Name

Even though Google’s not-yet release tablet is being regarded as Nexus 7 (2017), many believe that its actually going to be branded under the Pixel name. This is actually highly plausible since Google hasn’t been hiding the fact that it’s looking to get rid of the Nexus brand. This leaves Nexus 7 (2017) to arrive under the Pixel 7 name. However, the brand name doesn’t change the fact that Nexus 7 (2017) is going to be the most powerful Android tablet ever made.

Operating System

Nexus 7 (2017) is definitely going to make record sales because it offers a pure Android experience. With that being said, it’s pretty clear that Nexus 7 (2017) will ship with Google’s latest operating system and that is Android 8.0. The only downside to Android 8.0 is that it’s still in the developer preview phase. Therefore, we’re going to have to wait a while until the public version comes out.

Release Date

The most important question that Android fans must be asking themselves right now has to be about the device’s release date.
