Minecraft Pocket Edition To Receive Realms Online Multiplayer Servers
Minecraft is one of the most popular games out there and it is available for consoles, desktop computers and even mobile device. We have some good news for the Minecraft fans, as soon enough, this version of the game will receive an update which will bring Realms Online Multiplayer Servers.
Minecraft: Pocket Edition will soon receive Minecraft Realms support, which means that the players of this game on iOS, Android and Windows Phone, will be able to rent a server for online multiplayer. With other words, this will not require players to figure out their IP address for port-forwarding and, instead, they will have a server that will be open 24/7. This means that they will be able to share this server with their friends and allow them to join anytime they want (even when the owner of the server is offline).
The Realms support for the Minecraft: Pocket Edition will be released for Android today and you will be able to join for free. However, once the final version of the game will be released with Realms support, you will need to pay a monthly fee. It is good to know that the server will work across Android, iOS, Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile.
Mojang will once again win a good amount of money with its Realms for mobile. We remind you that Minecraft is already one of the best-selling games out there, with more and more players purchasing it for their mobile devices, consoles or desktop computers.
If you own an Android device and want to test out the Realms on your Minecraft: Pocket Edition, you will be able to download the BETA version of the game from the Google Play Store. However, in order to do this, you will firstly need to “BECOME A TESTER” by going to this page.
We re mind you that Realms is not a new feature for Minecraft, as this is already available on the PC version of the game. However, Realms is still in BETA on the Minecraft: PC version and it costs 8 dollars per month to rent a server.
