iPhone 6s vs. iPhone 7 – Let The Story Begin
Last fall, Apple has released the iPhone 6s, which came with some awesome specifications. However, now, the company located in Cupertino, California is preparing its iPhone 7 device. We’re going to compare these two devices, but keep in mind that the specifications from iPhone 7 are currently just rumored.
The iPhone 6s measures 138.3×67.1×7.1mm and its exterior is made of a more durable aluminum alloy, which makes the phone a bit thicker compared to the previous model. Also, the flagship is 20 grams heavier compared to the iPhone 6, weighting 143 grams. On the other hand the iPhone 7 is expected to come with a new design, thinner body and bezel.
The iPhone 6s has an IPS LCD display of 4.7-inch that supports a resolution of 1334×750 pixels at 326 ppi and it’s protected by an ion-strengthened glass. The iPhone 7 is expected to be released in two QHD display variants of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch that will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.
Processors & RAM
The iPhone 6s has been released with an Apple A9 chipset that houses a dual-core Twister processor clocked at 1.84GHz and 2GB of RAM. The iPhone 7 will feature an A10 chipset and 3GB of RAM.
The iPhone 6s has been released in three internal storage variants of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. The iPhone 7 will probably be released in three internal storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
The iPhone 6s sports a primary camera of 12MP (located on the rear side of the handset) that has features such as dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus, HDR, while the secondary camera has been upgraded to 5MP, from 1.2MP. According to rumors, the iPhone 7 will feature similar cameras, without any improvements.
The iPhone 6s features a non-removable battery of 1715 mAh. Unfortunately, there are no rumors regarding the battery that the iPhone 7 will come with. However, there are some reports saying that the iPhone 7 will be waterproof, a feature that many Android devices have for years already.
